Welcome 

     GeoMania is a passion project I have been developing as a hobbiest throughout my undergrad at Colorado State University. This serves as a pre-alpha prototype. The core gameplay and systems are there, but far from a full fledged game release. Hope you enjoy, any feedback would be sick, and as always glhf.

How To Play

Waves

     Enemies attack you in waves. Survive each wave, get rewards, and upgrade your character between waves. The waves progressively get harder, spawning enemies faster and more complex enemy types. There are twenty waves in total, how many can you survive? 

Shop

     After each wave you are taken to the shop. Here you can spend your rewards between waves on upgrades to your character. There are  30 total upgrades ranging from simple stat boosts to entirely new gameplay mechanics.

Score

     Killing enemies rewards the player with points. This factors in twice, any damage done to an enemy gets directly added to your current score as points, and each enemy type has a point reward for killing it. Tankier or generally harder enemies give a bigger point reward on there death. 

Score - Multiplier

     The score multiplier, multiplies any points being added to your score by its stated value. This multiplier slowly increases over time and maxes out at 5. Taking any damage resets this multiplier back to 0. Hunting for your highest score? Simple. Just Don't Get Hit. 

Controls

W, A, S, D to move.

Hold down left click to shoot.

Hold down right click to shield.

Press space to throw a grenade, you have unlimited grenades per wave, but a slight cooldown exisits between uses.
